AOL TopSpeed enables the computer to load previously viewed web pages much faster by utilizing a cache to store static elements of a webpage. AOL TopSpeed uses it's own cache (not the browser's) that is determined by amount of free disk space, compresses the files it saves, and uses these local files to create the web page, along with downloading anything that has changed, to load the page faster. AOL TopSpeed cache can be cleared (will clear Microsoft Internet Explorer also) by Settings/View All/Internet (Web) Options/Clear My Footprints. AOL TopSpeed can be turned on/off by Settings/Indes/Internet (Web) Options/AOL Browser/Do not store Web pages.
