- Client Foundation, provided formerly by BroadJump, is software used by various broadband Internet Service Providers (ISP) to aid the user when setting up DSL/cable/wireless/ISDN high speed modem. Client Foundation can also transmit registration information back to the ISP and may even download/install updates when available. Client Foundation may be considered undesirable because it shares information with external sources. Digital Subscription Line (DSL), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN).
