- Disk Cleanup Manager attempts free up disk space without removing essential system files. Several options that control what is deleted from the selected disk are available. Default settings start Disk Cleanup Manager automatically when disk space becomes limited. cleanmgr.exe is also a command line entry to run Disk Cleanup Manager.
