- Media Status Aggregation Service (MSAS) -responsible for sending data to be displayed to the user. Examples might be the track name or television show name on the front panel display for the user. Found on Windows XP Media Center Edition PCs, Media Center Ehome MSAS is the main Media Center application. Microsoft Media Center enables the user easy access (via wireless remote/keyboard) to digital entertainment/media content (record/view television, view image/video files, play audio files/disks).
