- Ireike.exe enables the user to make a secure connection to remote location over a public network (internet). Ireike.exe uses Layer Two Tunneling Protocol with Internet Protocol Security (L2TP/IPSec) to make this connection authentic, secure, and encrypted. If you are connecting to a remote computer that is running Virtual Private Network (VPN) you will need this process.
