- Disk Administrator enables the user to manage disks, partitions, volumes, RAID arrays, sharing, security, … on local disks. Redundant Array of Independent(/Inexpensive) Disks (RAID) -store same data in multiple different locations(disks) which enhances performance and prevents valuable data from being lost in the event of a disk failure.
